Online discounts

Any online discounts offered are applied to our standard rates, but excluding all other optional covers. The online discount only applies to the first year's premium (unless stated otherwise).Other discounts may apply from time to time for customers who purchase insurance via our Contact Centre.

Any discounts/entitlements may be subject to rounding and only apply to the extent any minimum premium is not reached. If you are eligible for more than one, we also apply each of them in a predetermined order to the premium (excluding taxes and government charges) as reduced by any prior applied discounts/entitlements. Discounts may not be applied to the premium for optional covers such as Flood and Personal Effects (where applicable).

Car Insurance discounts

The online discount does not apply to Third Party Fire & Theft policies and Third Party Property Damage policies. Safe Driver Discount applies to new Allianz Car Insurance policies only. Drivers must be aged 30 years plus, eligibility conditions in relation to all drivers are met. Discount available for new Allianz Car Insurance policies only.

Among the lowest prices

Based on external analysis of average and median premium quote samples for NSW, ACT, Vic, Qld, SA & WA in January 2016. Price depends on individual circumstances.

If this applies, an additional excess of $2,500 will apply if the vehicle is driven by an unnamed driver.

Up to 19% on home insurance

The up to 19% discount is made up of two discounts. First discount is up to 10% for combining buildings and contents covers on the one policy and the second discount is up to 10% discount for buying online. If you are eligible for more than one, we also apply each of them in a predetermined order to the premium (excluding taxes and government charges) as reduced by any prior applied discounts/entitlements. Minimum premiums may apply. Any discounts/entitlements may be subject to rounding and only apply to the extent any minimum premium is not reached. Discounts may not be applied to any Flood or Personal Effects components of the premium (if applicable).

Personal Effects

Cover for personal effects (portable items) anywhere in Australia (including within your home) and for a maximum of 35 days in any one period of insurance elsewhere in the world. Only available in conjunction with contents cover and as an optional benefit.

Home and Landlord Insurance discounts

The following discounts will not be applied to the flood premium - No claim bonus, approved security system discount, combined policy discount, age of owner discount, my Allianz discount, age of building discount and voluntary excess discount

* Up to 30% No Claim Bonus

To qualify for the maximum No Claim Bonus of 30%, home insurance customers must have had no home or contents insurance claims in the preceding five years. Landlord insurance customers must have had no Landlord losses in the preceding three years. However, customers who have had up to two claims may still qualify for reduced Non Claim Bonus.

Insurance is underwritten by Allianz Australia Insurance Limited (Allianz) ABN 15 000 122 850 AFSL 234708 and issued and managed by AGA Assistance Australia Pty Ltd ABN 52 097 227 177 AFSL 245631 trading as Allianz Global Assistance as an agent of Allianz. If you purchase this insurance, Allianz Global Assistance is remunerated by Allianz for providing services on behalf of Allianz. This is a percentage of the premium.
